Are you exhausted?
I think I speak for all of us when I say “Yes” to this question. If you’re not at the moment, you will be. If you are lucky enough to have never been exhausted, don’t worry, you’ll get there.
Being at a point where you feel insufficient, incapable, and indecisive is terrible. Even suffering from physical, mental, or emotional exhaustion can make you unenthusiastic about anything. Let alone if you are at a breaking point with all three.
Guess what? God can help. Here are three Continue reading 3 Short Prayers for Strength
We often times find ourselves in need of strength and wisdom. Strength alone helps if you know your goals and the tasks ahead of you. But some times you might find yourself where you don’t have the strength AND you don’t know where your efforts are best spend. Today’s prayer asks for God’s help with both of these.
Prayer for Strength and Wisdom
God, Creator of the Universe,
You bless us with life, health, the ability to make decisions, people who love us, and so much more. You’ve freely given us so much and yet you still listen each time I pray.
Father please give me strength. Strengthen me, my body, my mind, and my heart so that I can do more, think more, and love more deeply. Give me a courageous spirit that isn’t held back by my weaknesses, but is long lasting. Continue reading A Prayer for Strength and Wisdom
I thought it would be beneficial to write an “ULTIMATE” Strength Prayer. We all need strength in so many aspects of our lives. This isn’t a prayer that will be all-encompassing, but is thorough in many aspects. You can pray it all together or just pray each part as necessary. I hope this prayer will help you speak directly to God and help you pray for strength where you are weak.
Gracious and loving heavenly Father,
You pour your blessings out upon us, even on me, a sinner. Father I’m not worthy of the love you so freely give, but I thank you for your faithfulness. I thank you for all you have done for me, but I come to you weak and broken, asking for strength.

We all encounter times when we need a prayer for safety. No matter what you’ve gotten yourself in to, God is always there watching over you. God doesn’t want harm to come on you. He has watched and protected his people for centuries, and will continue to protect those who love him.
If you need a prayer for safety or feel called to pray for someone else’s safety, pray this prayer:

Difficult times come, it’s a fact of life. Have you been in a situation where you not only need strength, but you need hope?
When you are close to rock bottom, there is a sinking feeling that you’ll never overcome the trials at your feet. This feeling can be awful. It can also have long lasting consequences, as it is tempting to blame God for leaving you to deal with this alone.
But the truth is God didn’t leave you, and the Bible says he won’t tempt you more than you can stand. However, I know it can be tempting to turn your back on him when it seems like the entire world is crashing down around you. Continue reading 3 Prayers for Strength and Hope
A friend of mine has been going through a rough time recently, trying to “find himself,” among other things, and he has asked me to pray for him. Actually he’s asked me to pray for him several times within a few week time span. I thought this would be worthy of sharing on the blog because of the significance of what this stands for.
Praying is one of the most intimate acts you can perform. It is direct communication with God. It’s intimate, private, and direct. There have been many moments of my life that I’ve stopped and prayed during, and most of them have defined the person I’ve become. Continue reading A Prayer For Strength For A Friend
