Two Short Strength Prayers

Two Short Strength Prayers

Here are two short strength prayers I’d like to share with you. The first is one dealing with physical after struggling with an illness, and the second is regarding strength in maintaining peace of mind when you become overwhelmed.

Strength Prayer – Physical Strength

Almighty Healer,

I come to you in thanks for all you have given me. I thank you for another day to enjoy being in the presence of your Creation.

Please help me Father as I deal with the illness I am struggling with now. Please, if it be your will, heal me from this. But most of all, please give me the strength to carry out my daily activities and responsibilities that my loved ones look to me for. Please give me the strength make it though another day in spite of my temporary sickness.

In your Son’s name, Amen.

Strength Prayer – Emotional Strength

Heavenly Father,

Thanks for all the blessings you’ve poured out among me: a family, a job, friends, and other responsibilities. I genuinely am thankful for all the people around me and all the things I’ve been blessed with.

However, Lord, I’m struggling. Struggling with juggling too many things at once. Struggling with finding time to give to those who look to me for support or help. I pray Lord that you be with and help give me strength to not become overwhelmed. Please give me the strength of mind to view each of these as responsibilities you’ve entrusted me with and be thankful. Please give me the strength to continue even when I feel like quitting.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Encouragement

I encourage you to pray BOTH of these prayers. Perhaps both of the prayers are for you. Maybe just one is for you. Maybe you have people in mind to receive both prayers. Regardless, it is important that you pray, and it’s important that you pray for different people. God hears these prayers, and answers them in his own way.

The needs we’ve just prayed about are significant, and they have (very likely) applied to you at several points in your life. They have for me as well. I hope you’ve found these two short strength prayers useful for you or a loved one.

May He bless you today.
